Status of Goals set in 2015/2016

Reduce number of safety and environmentally relevant incidents per million hours worked to below 0.7

Implementation status:

In 2018, the number of safety-related and environmentally relevant incidents per million hours worked was still greater than the 2020 target. As of 2019, Wacker Chemie AG is classifying relevant incidents as per the updated Cefic or VCI definition. This will lower individual trigger thresholds and thus make smaller incidents relevant as well. Nonetheless, the set corporate goal of an incident rate of less than 0.7 per million hours worked by 2020 remains unchanged.
