Energy-Saving Chips
Wafers are cut from a silicon ingot. Chips for electronic devices are made from these wafers. Sensors, power devices, microcontrollers and other electronic chips ensure that state-of-the-art electrical appliances, and hybrid and electric cars are safe and economical.
40% of new cars are expected to be fitted with a hybrid or electric motor by 2025.
