Regions

WACKER’s operations are highly international. Of the Group’s €5.72 billion in sales in 2024 (2023: €6.40 billion), 84.1 percent came from international business (2023: 85.0 percent). Germany accounted for 15.9 percent of sales.

Asia posts sales decline

Sales declined in Asia in 2024, down 23.1 percent to €2.11 billion (2023: €2.75 billion). In the Greater China region, sales contracted significantly to €933 million (2023: €1.36 billion). Asia accounted for 37.0 percent of Group sales (2023: 43.0 percent).

Europe reports downward trend

WACKER’s business in Europe trended downward as well. Sales decreased to €2.21 billion (2023: €2.30 billion), corresponding to a decline of 3.8 percent. The region delivered 38.7 percent of Group sales (2023: 35.9 percent).

Higher sales in the Americas

Sales in the Americas increased by 2.3 percent to €1.07 billion (2023: €1.04 billion) and accounted for 18.6 percent of Group sales (2023: 16.3 percent).

Other regions post slight increase in sales

Sales in the other regions of the world increased by 5.7 percent to €328.2 million (2023: €310.5 million), accounting for 5.7 percent of Group sales (2023: 4.8 percent).
