Sustainability has been firmly anchored in our business processes for years. Sustainable development means balancing economic, ecological and social factors in everything we do. The fact that we have made sustainability one of our strategic goals emphasizes its importance.
Our corporate management – through our managers for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Product Safety (PS) and Sustainability, among others – is involved in issues of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The Executive Board sits directly on our Sustainability Council, while it is represented in our Human Rights Committee by the Chief Compliance Officer, who reports directly to the Board.
